Hello!
We are Rob and Joy Delmore, owners of this website. This site mostly represents a collection of sermon audios from a Bible conference grounds in Muskoka or other places in Canada, and links where you might find more Bible teaching from the same or similar teachers, pastors, and/or authors.
As a teen/young adult, Joy worked at a Christian family camp (MBC) in the children’s ministry department for a number of summers. This meant that, although on occasion she could attend chapel services, often-times if she wanted to hear the sermons, she had to do so through the recordings instead. Of course, others have donated cassettes to us as well, to digitalize and include on this website.*
Most of the audio messages on this website were originally recorded at Muskoka Baptist Conference (now known as Muskoka Bible Centre) and we’d love to share these with you here! MBC has kindly given us their permission to post our selection of these messages from years ago (non-recent years) on our website. For more recent MBC sermons, please see their website here.
There are also other non-MBC sermons posted here with approval of the speaker or ministry or similar.

Our Purpose
The purpose of “The Word In Our Hearts” is to focus on spiritual growth – building up believers in Christ, young and old, encouraging them to serve the Lord wholeheartedly, until He comes again!

“The Word In Our Hearts” website is an extension/ministry of our main website, “Peppermint Stick Learning Company Inc.”
“The Word In Our Hearts” offers free resources for learning the Bible.
Our “Peppermint Stick” website provides teacher/parenting resources for a variety of subject areas (free or for sale) and a blog called “Encouragemints”.
May we all grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and for ever! (2 Peter 3:18)

* We DO accept donations of sermon audio cassettes, from the speakers already mentioned on our website or similar ones. Cassettes (or CDs) may be mailed, at one’s own expense and without any compensation, to our address: P.O. Box 125, Margaree Valley, NS, B0E 2C0. We will consider them for adding to this website. (Please remember that this website is a ministry website. We personally look after the costs of having this website and cheerfully volunteer our time/efforts into it.) Donated cassettes/CDs might be used or not, and they might be disposed of or recycled (i.e. not returned to the donor). Thank-you for your understanding!
We generally aim to upload sermon audios which are not online, so that this is not a duplication of what can be found already.
